Matt Dumba - Signs with Coyotes Dumba (concussion) signed a one-year, $3.9 million contract with Arizona on Sunday, Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports reports.

Impact Dumba sustained a concussion in Minnesota's season-ending loss to Dallas on April 28, but he could be ready for start of training camp with his new team. The 29-year-old earned four goals, 10 assists, 99 shots on net, 116 blocked shots and 104 hits in 79 games last season. Dumba should slot in as a top-four defender for the Coyotes. He could also see action on the power play during the 2023-24 campaign.

Jean-Sebastien Dea - Placed on unconditional waivers Dea was placed on unconditional waivers by Arizona for the purposes of terminating his contract Saturday.

Impact Dea played only four games for the Coyotes last season and was unable to hit the scoresheet. He played in 67 games with AHL Tucson, scoring 23 times and adding 27 assists. Dea is expected to sign with a European club once he passes through waivers.

Impact McBain and the Coyotes were able to come to terms on a new agreement just before the two sides were scheduled to meet for an arbitration hearing. The 23-year-old forward generated 12 goals, 26 points, 85 shots on net and 304 hits in 82 games last season. McBain will probably occupy a spot on the fourth line during the 2023-24 campaign.

Impact Nemeth spent the last 10 seasons in the NHL, playing for Dallas, Colorado, Detroit, the New York Rangers and Arizona. He had five assists in 75 regular-season games with the Coyotes in 2022-23. Nemeth inked a three-year contract two seasons ago and was bought out of his last season by the Coyotes in June.
